Foaling season begins

Foaling season has begun at Blue Diamond Stud! In Newmarket, we welcomed a pair of colts from the first crop of champion Mishriff while at Stonereath Farm in Kentucky, Ocean Safari has produced a colt by Not This Time.
Our first foal on the ground is a smart colt by Mishriff out of Labaaqa, who was foaled on Friday (pictured top). He is the second foal out of his dam, a daughter of Le Havre whose two-year-old Make Believe filly will be trained by Harry Charlton.
He was joined on Sunday by another Mishriff colt, this time out of Juri. The Invincible Spirit mare is a Blue Diamond homebred herself, being a sister to our Gimcrack Stakes winner Ajaya and half-sister to Group 3 scorer Extra Elusive. Juri now visits Vandeek.
In Kentucky, our first foal of the year is a flashy colt by Not This Time out of Ocean Safari born on Monday (pictured).
He is the first foal out of Ocean Safari, winner of the Honey Ryder Stakes at Gulfstream Park. The daughter of Temple City now heads to Tapit.
