Extra Elusive’s ability was unlocked once he teamed up with our retained rider Hollie Doyle.
Already an useful performer who had been Group 3-placed, homebred Extra Elusive took his form to a new level under Hollie, who allowed him to bounce out and use his long stride to good effect. The partnership enjoyed a landmark moment when making all in the Group 3 Rose Of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock Park and later followed up in the Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor.
Extra Elusive was later sold to race on in Australia, where he remains in training.
