Arrival of a half-sister to Nashwa

5 March 2026

It continues to be a busy foaling season with the arrival of a Dubawi half-sister to champion Nashwa among the highlights of recent weeks.

The bay filly is out of our Listed Gillies Stakes heroine Princess Loulou and therefore a full-sister to our Listed Quebec Stakes winner Nebras.

Nashwa carried Imad Al Sagar's colours to victory in five races, notably the Prix de Diane, Nassau Stakes and Falmouth Stakes. She recently produced her first foal, a colt by Dubawi.

Princess Loulou is also dam of the classy Louganini. She has a Frankel yearling colt named Nasheed and is slated to visit Sea The Stars this season.

Stakes performer Atakama produced her first foal, a chestnut colt by top American sire Not This Time. Atakama, a Le Havre member of the Coup De Folie family, now visits Frankel.

Homebred Najeeba, a multiple winner for us, has also foaled in recent weeks, in her case a filly by Sergei Prokofiev (pictured second right). Najeeba visits Sands Of Mali.

In Kentucky, new purchase Sound The Trumpets foaled a colt by Cody's Wish. Sound The Trumpets is out of champion My Flag and therefore a granddaughter of the iconic racemare Personal Ensign. She has already clicked with Cody's Wish's sire Curlin to produce the Grade 1-performing colt Miles D.

Sounds The Trumpets now visits Gun Runner.
