Internationally renowned as a leading sales consignor from his Eydon Hall Farm Stud in Northamptonshire, Ted joined Blue Diamond Stud as CEO in January 2022. Ted is an extremely well respected figure within racing and bloodstock sales, having held the position of Manager for Adstock Manor Stud, Littleton Stud and Fair Winter Farm prior to founding Voute Sales in 1986. Voute Sales has sold over 100 stakes winners since then, among them 21 individual Group 1 winners including champion Authorized. Ted himself has also bred numerous winners led by Grade 2 heroine Fantastic Style.
Ted is also racing and bloodstock advisor to Prince A A Faisal’s Nawara Stud, the owner of Mishriff, Belardo, Make Believe and Eydon among many other top horses. Ted has also served for 12 years on the board of the TBA, for whom he chairs its Sales Consignors Committee, sat for one term on the board of the ROA and currently sits on the board of the Bloodstock Industry Forum. He is also a regular columnist for International Thoroughbred magazine.
