Promising Ranga Tang heads BDS-bred double
3 May 2026
It was an across-the-card double for Blue Diamond-breds on Sunday as Ranga Tang and Gegenpressing scored at Salisbury and Sligo.
Ranga Tang had previously shown good form for the Gredley family and James Owen without getting his head in front, so his win in the 1m4f novice at Salisbury was well deserved. The son of Lope De Vega becomes the fourth winner out of Rose Of Miracles after the classy stayer Amtiyaz, Intinso and Najeeba, all of whom carried our colours.
He was sold by us to his current connections at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
Rose Of Miracles (pictured second right) has a two-year-old filly by No Nay Never with John and Thady Gosden and a yearling filly by Too Darn Hot. She is back in foal to Kingman.
At Sligo, Gegenpressing recorded his sixth win when successful for Eddie and Patrick Harty in the extended 6f handicap. By The Gurkha, the 8yo was bred by the stud out of Bouyrin.
Congratulations to all connections.
