Arrivals for Chili Flag and Romina Power cap successful Newmarket foaling season

27 April 2026

A busy foaling season in Newmarket came to a close at the weekend with the arrival of two lovely foals, a filly by Not This Time out of Chili Flag and a colt by Too Darn Hot out of Princess Nadia

The Not This Time is the first foal out of her top-class dam, whose victories included the Grade 1 Jenny Wiley Stakes at Keeneland and Grade 2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile. The daughter of Cityscape, a member of the Blue Duster family, now goes to Frankel.

Princess Nadia, meanwhile, visits Night Of Thunder. A Sea The Stars daughter of our Group 1-placed 2yo Princess Noor, the winning Princess Nadia has a 2yo Iffraaj filly with Ralph Beckett and a yearling filly by Ace Impact to come.

Another exciting arrival was Romina Power's colt by Champion sire Night Of Thunder. He is the first foal for his Listed-winning dam, who descends from the Meon Valley blue hen Reprocolor.

Lady Rasha, our homebred half-sister to Ajaya and Extra Elusive, has foaled a filly by Cracksman while stakes producer May Rose, dam of last season's smart filly Bosphorus Rose, has produced a filly by Zarak (pictured bottom right). The latter is a full-sister to a 2yo filly now with Francis-Henri Graffard. May Rose returns to Zarak while Lady Rasha heads to Study Of Man.

Our American arm also has a number of exciting foals on the ground. They include a striking Not This Time colt out of Floret (pictured second right), our half-sister to Champion Moonlight Cloud from the famous Doff The Derby family. Floret, the dam of recent winner Star Of Stirling, now visits Into Mischief.

We also have a pair of fillies by Lane's End Farm's leading sire Twirling Candy on the ground. In Kentucky, the filly in question is out of Arwa (pictured third right), our half-sister to Champion Order Of St George. Already the dam of several winners, Arwa now goes to Blame.

Newmarket, meanwhile, welcomed a Twirling Candy filly out of our young homebred stakes producer Jousi, dam of last year's Listed Prix du Pont Neuf winner Burhan. Jousi, a winning daughter of Dubawi from the family of Walk In The Park, goes back to Havana Grey.
