Zoustar and Gleneagles colts add to 2020 crop; dams to visit Decorated Knight
12 April 2020
It continues to be a busy season at Blue Diamond Stud thanks to the arrival of two smartly-bred foals by Zoustar and Gleneagles.
Tweenhills’ shuttler Zoustar, currently a leading young sire in Australia, is the sire of a colt out of Zotilla, who joined the stud when purchased €75,000 at last year’s Arqana December Sale.
Zotilla is a Zamindar half-sister to Classic heroine Flotilla, who won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf and Poule d’Essai des Pouliches, and out of Grade 3 winner Louvain. Further back, it is the fast family of Group 1-winning sprinter G Force.
Zotilla is yet another high-profile addition to the 2020 book of our multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight, who stands at the Irish National Stud for €9,000.
Joining Zotilla in his book is Vetlana, the dam of a colt by promising young sire Gleneagles – himself a close relation to Decorated Knight.
By Vale Of York, Vetlana is a half-sister to Listed winner Sameem and out of Listed winner Ahla Wasahl.
