Zgharta bounces back at Salisbury

Zgharta returned to winning ways at Salisbury on Thursday with a deserved success in the 1m2f handicap for Andrew Balding.
Given an inspired ride by Oisin Murphy, Zgharta threaded her way through from the rear of the field to make the most of a gap up the rail and win going away by three lengths.
It was a second win for the daughter of Ghaiyyath, who was bred by The Broadway Partnership and was a Goffs Orby yearling purchase.
Her win came on the same day that Eleganz ran a fine race to finish second in the Listed Prix Joubert at ParisLongchamp.
