Unbeaten Faisal looks exciting

Faisal again looked a colt with an exciting future on Wednesday when running out the easy winner of his second race, a novice at Wolverhampton for John Gosden.

The impressive winner of his debut at Lingfield Park last month, Faisal was sent off the short-price favourite to oblige once again under our retained jockey Hollie Doyle and didn’t disappoint with a two-and-a-half length score from War Cross.

A step up in class now beckons for our exciting homebred.

From the first crop of champion Golden Horn, Faisal is the first foal out of our homebred Bella Lulu. The daughter of Iffraaj, who carried our colours to victory at Doncaster as a three-year-old, is a half-sister to our multiple stakes-winning sprinter Justineo, and out of Loulwa, who won the Listed River Eden Stakes for us at Lingfield.
