Ajaya well represented among March foals

15 March 2018

The Ajaya filly out of Sensiz struts her stuff

The stud has welcomed another collection of smart foals by our Gimcrack Stakes winner Ajaya, bringing our overall total by the stallion to six. Ajaya, who stands at Rathbarry Stud, certainly seems to be stamping his stock as each of our foals to date by him have been bay.

The first of the new trio to arrive on March 9 was a filly out of Sensiz, a winning Marju half-sister to Listed winner Sugar Free. Sensiz’s first foal, the Al Kazeem colt Kolo Taman, is with Roger Charlton while her second, an Oasis Dream filly, has been allocated to Marco Botti.

Sensiz now visits Raven’s Pass.

Manaaber, meanwhile, foaled a striking filly by Ajaya on March 13. The filly is the fifth foal out of her dam, who is a winning Medicean half-sister to current Japanese Group 2 winner Fine Needle.

Manaaber now visits Shalaa.

The trio was completed by a colt out of Missy O’Gwaun, born on March 15. Missy O’Gwaun, a winning King’s Best sister to Japanese Group 3 winner Cosmo Meadow from the famous Neil Jones family of Millenary and Head In The Clouds, heads back to Ajaya.

Ajaya’s sire Invincible Spirit is also represented at Blue Diamond this year through a filly out of Turama, who was foaled on March 9.

Turama, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Spinning Queen, has already bred the winning Zefferino and is set to form part of Decorated Knight’s first book this year.

Finally, the stud has also welcomed a Bated Breath filly out of our Kyllachy mare Aramam. Foaled on March 13, she hails from the family of top miler Canford Cliffs.
