Successful debut for homebred Zade

26 November 2025

Homebred Zade made the perfect start to his career on Wednesday when successful on his debut at Deauville.

Trained by Andre Fabre, Zade quickened up well in the hands of Stephane Pasquier to win in cosy fashion.

"He's a nice colt," said Stephane Pasquier. "What he did today is great. He was still a bit immature, but he accelerated nicely."

In the process the Pinatubo colt became the fourth winner out of our Listed Prix Petite Etoile winner Dawn Of Hope after Kind Gesture, Blown Away and Variable Cost.

Dawn Of Hope, who is a half-sister to our Group 3 winner Ayrad, has a yearling colt by Lope De Vega and a filly foal by Justify. She is in foal to Blame.
