Smart win for BDS-bred New Mission

New Mission, bred by Blue Diamond Stud out of Soon, turned in a pleasing display to get off the mark for Godolphin at Epsom on Tuesday.
Having filled the frame at Chelmsford City on his last start, New Mission was sent off the odds on favourite and didn’t disappoint, outbattling Tiempo Star to win in cosy fashion.
By Dubawi, New Mission was bred by Blue Diamond Stud out of Soon, a Listed-winning Galieo daughter of Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine Classic Park, and is therefore a sister to Ascot maiden winner Jousi.
Jousi is now a valued member of our broodmare band. She has a yearling colt by Golden Horn and visited Siyouni this year.
New Mission is trained by Charle Appleby on behalf of Godolphin and was purchased from us out of the Tattersalls October Sale.
