Royal arrivals highlight an exciting spring

6 April 2021

An exciting time for the stud with four new arrivals, including two by our homebred multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight

Particularly exciting is the filly out of Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye heroine Gilt Edge Girl, who was born on March 27. The chestnut filly, who bears a close resemblance to her sire, was bred in partnership with the Irish National Stud and is a half-sister to the classy sprinter Time’s Arrow.

Also extremely well connected is the colt out of Star Of Bristol born on April 5. The strapping chestnut is the third foal out of his dam, a Speightstown half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner and top sire Mastercraftsman. Star Of Bristol now visits Wootton Bassett.

Stereo Viewing, a winning Galileo relation to the Classic-winning milers Fairy Footsteps and Desert Prince, also produced her first foal, a filly by Starspangledbanner, on March 30.

Stereo Viewing now visits Fastnet Rock.

Meanwhile in Kentucky, the high-class Manasarova foaled a filly by Tweenhills shuttler Zoustar.

The filly is the fourth foal out of her dam, a winner at two who also ran second in the Listed Prix Ronde de Nuit. Manasarova, a More Than Ready relation to top American turf runner Shakis, also has a yearling colt from the sole crop of Roaring Lion and now visits champion American sire Kitten’s Joy.
