Gorgeous Noora strikes under Andrea Atzeni
The well regarded Gorgeous Noora notched the third win of her career on Friday evening, swooping late to take a competitive sprint handicap at Newmarket.
Gorgeous Noora travelled powerfully in the hands of Andrea Atzeni and showed a good change of gear to run down the leader and win a shade cosily from Restless Rose. Progressive throughout her career to date for Luca Cumani, it’s likely that there is still plenty of improvement to come from the daughter of Raven’s Pass.
Gorgeous Noora was bought by Tony Nerses for 370,000gns out of the Rathbarry Stud draft at Book 2 of the 2016 Tattersalls October Sale.
Bred by Kabansk Ltd and Rathbarry Stud, she is the second foal out of the Listed-placed Aneedah, an Invincible Spirit sister to high-class sprinter Muthmir. Aneedah is also a half-sister to Group 3-winning juvenile My Titania.
