Perfect start for Nazanin
22 June 2021
Homebred Nazanin made the perfect start to her career for Archie Watson on Newbury when the easy winner of her debut, a 6f novice.
Well backed to oblige, Nazanin showed professionalism under Hollie Doyle to assume a handy position before smoothly taking charge and kicking clear for a length-and-a-quarter success over the experience Peggoty.

A crack at black-type could now be on the cards.
A daughter of Declaration Of War, who now stands in Japan, Nazanin is a sister to Martineo, who won in the colours of Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, and out of Woodland Scene, an Act One half-sister to Group 1 winner Crowded House. Further back, it is the family of Storm Cat.
Woodland Scene also has a yearling filly from the first crop US Triple Crown winner Justify.
