Maximus Xander provides update to Tatts-bound sibling

Maximus Xander maintained the good run enjoyed by Blue Diamond Stud graduates when breaking his maiden for Elia Stud Farm at Marseille Borely on Sunday.
In the process, the Lope De Vega three-year-old provided a timely update to his Frankel half-brother who is due to go under the hammer at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
They are out of Maid To Master, a Danehill Dancer sister to top miler and leading sire Mastercraftsman who was purchased to join the stud by Tony Nerses in December 2014.
Out of the winning Starlight Dreams, Maid To Master is also a sister to the Group 1-placed Famous, herself dam of this season’s high-class three-year-old Il Paradiso, and a three-parts sister to the Grade 3-winning Genuine Devotion.
Maid To Master visited our multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight this season.
Her Frankel colt is due to sell as lot 423 out of the New England Stud draft at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
