War Front x Maid To Master filly at four hours old
One the most eagerly anticipated foals of the year arrived on Monday when Maid To Master foaled a filly by Claiborne Farm’s leading international sire War Front.
“She is an extremely nice foal,” said Tony Nerses. “We are extremely pleased with her.”
The filly is the second foal out of Maid To Master, who was purchased through Tony Nerses for 900,000gns at last year’s Tattersalls December Sale.
The winning daughter of Danehill Dancer is a sister to the brilliant miler Mastercraftsman, the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes winner who is now a leading young sire.
She is also a sister to the Group 1-placed Famous and a three-parts sister to Grade 2 winner Genuine Devotion. Further back, it is the family of champions Sakhee and Celestial Storm.
Maid To Master is set to visit Lope De Vega this season.
