Intinso impressive on return
16 March 2024
Intinso made the perfect start to his four-year-old campaign at Wolverhampton on Saturday when successful in the 1m4f handicap for John and Thady Gosden.
Sent off the 8-15 favourite, Intinso took up a prominent position from the start and having travelled well in the hands of Hollie Doyle, went clear at the top of the straight to win unchallenged.
The son of Siyouni is the second winner in as many days bred by Blue Diamond Stud after Louganini in Saudi Arabia.
"He's always been a big, striking, powerful horse," said Hollie Doyle. "I think he was just raw last year. He's done well with time and that will have done his confidence the world of good. He's grown up a lot.
"He got into a lovely rhythm today, he just got a bit lonely in front, but he did it very well. He came here rated 90, he'll go up for that and hopefully to a nice workable mark for some of those exciting summer handicaps."
Intinso is one of three winners out of Rose Of Miracles following Amtiyaz, who won the Copper Horse Stakes at Royal Ascot, and triple scorer Najeeba. Rose Of Miracles, a Dalakhani relation to the brilliant miler Goldikova, has a yearling colt by Lope De Vega and is in foal to No Nay Never. She is due to visit Pinatubo for 2024.
