Homebred Enchanting wins well on second start

20 September 2023

Fresh from Blown Away's win at Chelmsford, we celebrated another homebred two-year-old winner of the week when Enchanting scored in good style under Hollie Doyle at Beverley on Wednesday.

In the process, she became our second winner with Andrew Balding after Lahab.

A daughter of the exciting first-crop sire Blue Point, for whom she is a 37th winner, Enchanting was bred by Blue Diamond Stud out of Tisa River, who joined the stud in December 2020. Tisa River is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Iridessa, Santa Barbara and Order Of Australia and has already added her bit to the family as the dam of Bolt Action, who was stakes-placed on multiple occasions last year.

Tisa River has a colt foal by Frankel and is in foal to Camelot.
