Gulliver wins again

2 November 2017

Gulliver added to his recent success at Wolverhampton when the clever winner of the class 2 7f handicap at Lingfield on Thursday.

Held up in touch by James Doyle, Gulliver knuckled down well when asked and swiftly hit the front with the eventual second Sacred Act. The pair had a sustained duel to the line but Gulliver was always holding his rival and went on to score by a neck, with the pair pulling two-and-quarter lengths clear of the third.

It was a third win Gulliver, who has always been highly regarded by Hugo Palmer. Now he is on a winning roll, hopefully he can continue to progress.

Gulliver is from the first crop of our stallion Sayif, who stands at Llety Farms, and was bred by Alun Douch out of Sweet Coincidence, also the dam of 1,000 Guineas runner-up Lightning Thunder and Sagaro Stakes winner Sweet Selection.

Gulliver was purchased by Tony Nerses for 50,000gns as a yearling.
