Fourth win for Hackney Diamonds
3 April 2026
Hackney Diamonds, bred and raised at Blue Diamond Stud, won for the fourth time when successful at Southwell on Saturday.
Trained by Ian Williams for GL Racing, the tough Camelot mare took the 1m3f handicap under Jason Watson in cosy fashion.
With that win under her belt, Hackney Diamonds now boasts earnings of around £33,000. She has finished in the frame in eight of nine starts so far this year.
Hackney Diamonds (pictured as a yearling) was part of our Tattersalls October Book 2 draft in 2023 when sold to Sam Sangster. She was also a winner as a two-year-old for Wild Horses Racing and Brian Meehan.
Hackney Diamonds is out of Arwa, our Holy Roman Emperor half-sister to champion Order Of St George. Arwa is based at Stonereath Farm in Kentucky where she has a yearling colt by Elite Power. Her 3yo Wootton Bassett filly, Malika, is in training with Andrew Balding.
