‘Fantastic’ Oasis Dream filly to join Luca Cumani after selling for 500,000gns

A stunning Oasis Dream filly from the family of Millenary will become the first horse trained by Luca Cumani on behalf of Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar after selling for 500,000gns.
Nerses had to outbid John Ferguson for the filly, who is a half-sister to the highly promising Lady Of Dubai, who is likely to make her next appearance in the Montrose Stakes at Newmarket after running out the wide-margin winner of a Newmarket maiden on her last start.
Fittingly, this filly was bred by Luca and Sara Cumani’s Fittocks Stud out of the Montjeu mare Lady Of Everest.
“She is a fantastic individual,” Imad Al Sagar told the Racing Post. “Very good-looking with great balance and very correct. We really like the pedigree, especially the fact that she is out of a Montjeu mare – we like the idea of the Danzig line over Montjeu. And both her half-sisters are winners now. Lady Of Dubai was very impressive at Newmarket and will run in a Listed race next time.”
“It’s a very strong market, especially for the good ones.”
