Exciting Sonic Angel makes it two from two

The exciting Sonic Angel made it two from two for Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum when cruising home under a penalty at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
The Simon and Ed Crisford-trained colt made light of a wide draw to win by a five-and-a-half lengths under Jack Mitchell.
"He’s a playboy still, he hasn’t clocked on to job," said Jack Mitchell. "At Newcastle he was green, but he had one to run with and that taught him a bit. He had nothing to run with there and showed a bit of professionalism.
"He’s a big raw horse so hopefully there’s some untapped potential there."
The Dark Angel colt was bred by the stud out of Breath Of Joy, a homebred daughter of Kodiac who carried our colours to success in two races back in 2020. In turn, Breath Of Joy is out of Island Dreams, a Giant's Causeway half-sister to the high-class Rob Roy.
Sonic Angel was sold by us through Malcolm Bastard at the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-Up Sale at Fairyhouse, where he was knocked down to Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock.
Breath Of Joy has a yearling colt by Havana Grey, a Mehmas colt foal and is in foal to Starman.
