Lady Wingshot and her Dubawi colt

The first week of April featured the arrival of one of the most eagerly anticipated foals of the season; a Dubawi colt out of Group 3 winner Lady Wingshot.

Foaled on April 4, the colt is the fourth foal out of his dam. Lady Wingshot, a daughter of Lawman, was purchased by the stud following a career that comprised four victories, among them the Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes and Listed Knockaire Stakes. She now heads to Ireland to be covered by Decorated Knight.

Lady Wingshot is one of two mares due to foal to Dubawi this year alongside Soon, who has already clicked with the stallion to produce the talented Jousi.

Rose Of Miracles with her Dansili filly

We are also very pleased to have two foals on the ground by another leading Newmarket-based sire, Dansili.

The first to arrive was a grey filly out of Rose Of Miracles, a Dalakhani relation to the great Goldikova whose first foal is a Frankel colt.

Rose Of Miracles is also set to be part of Decorated Knight’s first book, as is Talawat, a winning relation to Zoffany who foaled a Dansili colt on March 27, and May Rose, a winning half-sister to Cable Bay who foaled an Oasis Dream filly on the same day.

Meanwhile, Thunder Snow’s sire Helmet is the sire of a chestnut colt out of Loulou. The colt is the sixth foal out of his dam, a winning daughter of champion Hatoof who now visits Mastercraftsman – the sire of our exciting homebred Extra Elusive.

We have also supported War Command throughout his career and are very pleased with our latest foal, a filly out of Dashing foaled on April 4.

Dashing’s filly struts her stuff

Dashing boasts regal connections as a Sadler’s Wells half-sister to champion Alexander Goldrun, herself dam of the exciting Goldrush, and as such, she now heads to France to be covered by the brilliant two-year-old Shalaa.

We also continue to be very happy with the first crop sired by our Gimcrack Stakes winner Ajaya.

The latest foal to arrive by the stallion is a chestnut filly out of Paradise Sea, a Stormy Atlantic half-sister to Group 1 winner David Junior to bring our overall total to seven. Each is a quality sort with plenty of strength and presence.

Ajaya stands at Rathbarry Stud for €8,000.
