Multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight is represented by two smartly bred colts at the upcoming Tattersalls December Foal Sale, set for 25 – 28 November in Newmarket.

Highfort Stud sends through a half-brother to the stakes-placed Captain’s Affair as Lot 771 on Friday. The February-foaled colt is out of the winning Hugs ‘n Kisses, a Noverre half-sister to Listed winner Los Bonitos who is related to champions La Colorada, Lomitas, Lady Marian and Lavirco.

Mickley Stud will also send through a half-brother to Listed winner Carpathian as Lot 552 on Thursday. Out of the Tiger Hill mare Comnena, the colt is a descendant of Classic winner Helen Street and therefore related to Shamardal and Street Cry.

Decorated Knight won three Group 1 races for Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar – the Jebel Hatta, Tattersalls Gold Cup and Irish Champion Stakes. He also belongs to the ultimate stallion family, being out of a sister to champion sires Giant’s Causeway and Freud.

His first crop are two-year-olds of 2021 and have sold up to 190,000gns at auction.

Decorated Knight will stand for €7,500 at the Irish National Stud in 2021.
