Decorated Knight filly joins our prospects for 2021

13 October 2020

We were delighted to add ‘a lovely, athletic filly’ from the first crop of our multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight to our racing stable at Tattersalls on Tuesday.

Bred by Peter McCutcheon, the filly is a half-sister to eight winners including Listed scorer Elusive Beauty and the Listed-placed Futuro Anteriore. Their dam, the winning Intikhab mare Lost Icon, is a half-sister to several high-class American runners including Grade 2 winner Little Treasure.

She was purchased out of the Beechmore Bloodstock draft by Tony Nerses for 40,000gns.

Multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight stands at the Irish National Stud. By Galileo, he boasts a true stallion’s pedigree as a close relation to Giant’s Causeway.

We also returned to familiar territory with the purchase of a half-sister to our exciting prospect Faisal for 100,000gns.

By Muhaarar, the filly was sold by The National Stud, who bred the youngster out of Bella Lulu – the daughter of Iffraaj won for us at Doncaster and is a half-sister to our former high-class speedster Justineo.
