Won the Tapster Stakes and Gala Stakes
Always highly regarded, Ayrad broke through at stakes level in 2015 when successful in the Listed Tapster Stakes at Goodwood for Roger Varian.
Transferred to Roger Charlton, the son of Dalakhani subsequently added to his record the following year with victory in the Listed Gala Stakes at Sandown. He was also stakes-placed on multiple occasions, notably when second in the Group 3 Aston Park Stakes and third in the Group 3 Gordon Richards Stakes.
Bred by Gerrardstown House Stud, Ayrad is out of the Group 3-placed Sweet Firebird and a half-brother to Listed winner Dawn Of Hope, now a valued member of our broodmare band.
Ayrad now lives in retirement near Beckhampton.
