BDS-bred Split Elevens scores at Wolverhampton
9 December 2020
Split Elevens, bred at Blue Diamond Stud by Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar, got off the mark on Tuesday with a deserved success in the 6f nursery at Wolverhampton.
Previously placed on several occasions for trainer John Butler, Split Elevens swooped down the outer under David Probert and held on for a narrow score to become the latest first-crop winner for our homebred Gimcrack Stakes winner Ajaya.
Split Elevens becomes the second winner out of Woodland Scene following multiple scorer Martineo. The daughter of Act One, a half-sister to Group 1-winning two-year-old Crowded House, also has a yearling filly by Declaration Of War and a filly foal from the first crop of American Triple Crown hero Justify.
