BDS-bred River Blackwater wins again

River Blackwater, bred and raised by Blue Diamond Stud, added a second success to her record for David O’Meara on Tuesday when landing the nursery at Newcastle.
The Dark Angel filly continues a great run with our 2022 crop, following hot on the heels of Hotazhell’s win in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. Others include Ellis Park debut winner Sashay Away, who takes her chance in the Grade 2 Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland on Friday.
River Blackwater is out of Shaden (pictured second below), who carried our colours to success in the Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes. She was sold by us to Jason Kelly on behalf of Jinky Farms and Partner at last year's Tattersalls Somerville Sale.
