BDS-bred Rikona wins again

Rikona, bred by Blue Diamond Stud, made it two wins for the season on Wednesday when successful in the 1m2f handicap at Lingfield.
Trained by Kevin Philippart de Foy, the daughter of Shalaa made smooth headway from the back of the field under Paddy Bradley to win a shade easily.
Previously successful Ffos Las in August, Rikona has finished in the frame on six occasions this season. She was bred by us out of Paradise Sea, a Stormy Atlantic half-sister to Champion Stakes winner David Junior.
