BDS-bred Rikona strikes again

The successful of Blue Diamond Stud graduates continued on Saturday evening as Rikona made it three wins for Kevin Philippart de Foy in the 1m3f handicap at Kempton.
Racing off a career-high mark, the daughter of Shalaa made headway from the rear of the field and having struck the front inside final the 110 yards, ultimately won going away.
Previously successful Ffos Las in August and Lingfield in December, Rikona was bred by us out of Paradise Sea, a Stormy Atlantic half-sister to Champion Stakes winner David Junior.
She continues a successful week that also featured the debut win of Imad Alsagar's Wonderful Justice at Fair Grounds in the US.
