BDS-bred No Recollection caps lovely day at Salisbury

2 May 2021

An excellent day at Salisbury was capped by the victory of the BDS-bred No Recollection for Alan King in the 1m2f handicap.

Previously a winner at Wolverhampton and never out of the first four in five starts, No Recollection showed a fine attitude to repel the runner-up Farhan by a head with the pair four lengths clear of the third.

The son of Dansili was bred by Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar out of Talawat, a winning Cape Cross relation to Classic sire Zoffany purchased as a yearling by Tony Nerses. He was sold through Jamie Railton to Loughmore Stables for 80,000gns as a foal and resold as a yearling through Tally-Ho Stud to Highflyer Bloodstock and Alan King.
