The stud’s current good run continued on Monday evening when graduate Liverpool Knight won well at Windsor.

Making his first start for Kevin Philippart de Foy, Liverpool Knight drew right away in the closing stages of the extended 1m3f event to win easily by over three lengths.

It was the third win for the Golden Horn four-year-old, who broke his maiden in our colours at Wolverhampton as a three-year-old before changing hands at last year’s Tattersalls July Sale.

Liverpool Knight hails from one of our most successful families as a son of our dual Listed winner Nouriya, herself dam of our Duke Of Cambridge and Atalanta Stakes scorer Aljazzi and Listed winner Majestic Noor. Another daughter, Miss Nouriya, is also dam of the current American Grade 2-placed filly Miss Kinchen.

Nouriya is also dam of three-year-old Sobegrand, who is in training with John and Thady Gosden, and a colt foal by Lope De Vega.
