Another smart Knight for BDS

Our collection of Decorated Knight foals continues to grow with the arrival of a colt out of Spring Eternal on February 20.
The colt is the second foal out of his dam, a winning Oasis Dream half-sister to Australian Listed scorer Exoteric. His granddam Short Dance was a smart filly whose victories included the Listed Radley Stakes and Listed Michael Seely Memorial Fillies’ Stakes.
Spring Eternal also has a yearling colt by Belardo and is due to visit Mehmas.
This is the third crop of foals by our homebred multiple Group 1 winner Decorated Knight. Decorated Knight’s victories includes the Irish Champion Stakes, Jebel Hatta and Tattersalls Gold Cup.
He is beautifully related, as a Galileo relation to champion sire Giant’s Causeway, and boasts two-year-old representation in many of Britain’s leading yards, notably John Gosden, Roger Varian and Roger Charlton.
Decorated Knight stands for €7,500 at the Irish National Stud – and any breeder using him this year is entitled to a free nomination in 2022.
