2yo success continues with River Blackwater

River Blackwater, a Dark Angel filly out of Shaden bred, raised and sold by Blue Diamond Stud, capped another successful day for the stud when scoring for David O'Meara in the nursery at Southwell on Tuesday.
Her win completed an across-the-card double for Blue Diamond graduates following the impressive debut win of Marakesh at Gowran Park.
The pair join Shamran, Enchanting and OJ Lifestyle as winners during the past ten days who were bred and raised at Blue Diamond Stud. In the case of River Blackwater, she continues the successful run of our two-year-olds; Group 3 Tyros Stakes winner Hotazhell, debut scorers Sashay Away and Milford, recent Deauville winner Burhan and fellow nursery scorer Hackney Diamonds are other members of our two-year-old crop to score so far this summer.
River Blackwater is out of Shaden (pictured), who carried our colours to success in the Group 3 Firth Of Clyde Stakes. She was sold by us to Jason Kelly on behalf of Jinky Farms and Partner at last year's Tattersalls Somerville Sale.
