A good spell for Blue Diamond-bred runners continued on Friday as Angel Time scored by 17 lengths at Leicester.
Facing heavy ground for the first time in the 6f contest, Angel Time travelled smoothly into contention under Ray Dawson before pulling clear for Robyn and Jo Brisland.
The daughter of Penny's Picnic was bred by Blue Diamond Stud out of Tarawa, a Green Tune relation to Prix de l'Abbaye heroine and former Blue Diamond mare Gilt Edge Girl - herself dam of Classic hopeful Londoner.
Earlier on the card, Tarawa's two-year-old colt by Decorated Knight, fellow BDS-bred Regal Fighter, stepped up on his debut effort to run second for the same connections in the 5f novice.
